Future is vintage in Florence. “Il Futuro è vintage” – Future is Vintage is a special event dedicated to the best selections of vintage clothing. It will offer only original garments from the ’50-’60-’70 or clothes repackaged handmade by young artists in Florence.
Future is Vintage is an exhibition-market, that will focus on selected clothes giving ideas to many stylist for their original design and precious materials.
The Association besides the event wants to open a new space dedicated to fashion and Florentine craft too often relegated to the circuits of the “living rooms” and more influenced by economic factors than innovation.
This vintage selection combines new attitudes and style in a truly new luxury idea that companies and designers are increasingly considering. Vintage is cheap, unique and long-lived.
Nowadays research laboratories look often at past trends, providing inspiration for contemporary collections. Tuscany is the italian region for vintage, where a large audience of collectors and enthusiasts, as long as cool hunters and style designers, will meet.
Now in its third edition Future is vintage offers increased focus on furnishing accessories and artistic crafts. MAQ, Angela Maria Quattrini illustrations exhibition will enrich the event.
